In pursuance of section 34 of the Companies Act No. 07 of 2007, an application has been made to the Registrar – General of Companies for a licence directing an Association about to be formed under the name of “BEYOND BORDERS” to be registered with limited liability without the addition of the word “Limited” to its name.

The objectives for which the Association is proposed to be established are;

1.      Achieve and promote the highest level of wellbeing of generation of young persons in all its aspects through; exploring, understanding, promoting the identity, diversity, social change and active global citizenship of young persons.

2.      For this purpose, to set up, promote, implement, operate, evaluate and monitor programmes, seminars, social activities, workshops, theatre/ drama, discussions, sponsorships and such other youth interactive projects which can promote, encourage, assist, upgrade, foster, train, and uplift the social welfare, health, poverty, educational facilities, education, culture and equality of social life in Sri Lanka.

The Articles of Association may be inspected at No. 45, Braybrooke Street, Colombo – 02.

NOTICE is hereby given that any person, company or corporation, objecting to this application may bring such objections on or before the day of October 21, 2008 by a letter addressed to the Registrar – General of Companies, “Samagam Medura” No. 400, D R Wijewardena Mawatha, Colombo – 10.
